Harrison Acoustics specializes in architectural acoustics, noise and vibration control. We believe in providing our clients with unmatched service and expertise at an outstanding value.
At Harrison Acoustics, nearly all of our business is from repeat customers who recognize the value Harrison Acoustics provides to its wide array of clients. With over 20 years of acoustical expertise, Harrison Acoustics provides practical, cost-effective solutions to acoustics, noise, and vibration control challenges facing building owners, architects, and engineers.
Our expertise includes common services such as interior room acoustics, sound isolation, and mechanical noise control and extends to environmental noise control, expert witness, and third party peer review. We work in every market, especially corporate, multifamily, senior living, mixed-use, education, healthcare, houses of worship, sports, and industrial markets. Our goal is to provide our clients with exceptional service, expertise, and practical solutions to acoustical challenges.
In addition to acoustical acumen, Managing Principal Seth Harrison has expertise as a commissioning agent, testing energy-consuming mechanical and electrical systems in buildings. This additional experience lends a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems — above and beyond what is typical of acoustical consultants. This added skill set provides Owners with value-added and efficient collaboration with Architects and MEP Engineers throughout the design process.
Seth has been an adjunct professor of acoustics at Moore College of Art and Design and a guest lecturer on acoustics at Drexel University. He has presented numerous technical papers and presentations at professional society conferences including the Acoustical Society of America and the Institute of Noise Control Engineering.
A licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania, New York, and Illinois, Seth also served as the Treasurer of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Acoustical Society of America and currently serves as the Vice Chair. He is voting member of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E33 Committee on Building and Environmental Acoustics, including seven subcommittees and 043 US TAG to ISO/TC 43/SC 2 Building Acoustics.
